Benefit - general definition

A definition of the word benefit.

Financial assistance from the Government.  This is any income support that pays for weekly living expenses and is paid to both you and your partner - such as the Unemployment Benefit, Invalids Benefit, or New Zealand Superannuation (a war pension isn't counted as a benefit).
