Living with your partner

If you and your partner's combined income puts you in the 'student with earning partner' category, you will receive a reduced rate of Student Allowance. The rate will vary depending on whether or not you are both living in the same home. If at any time you or your partner live in a parental home, you will be considered 'living at home' unless you or your partner have a dependent child in your care.
