Checking the status of your application
24 April 2013
If you have applied for a Student Allowance or Student Loan and want to check on the status of your application, the best way to do so is by logging into your MyStudyLink account. If you do ring us please be aware that you may experience a wait of 10-15 minutes or not be able to enter our phone queue at certain times of the day. Currently, our highest call volumes are between 11.30am and 2.00pm each day.
What happens next
Once you've checked the status of your application in MyStudyLink, make sure you understand what happens next in the application process.
You can also use MyStudyLink to...
- apply for your course-related costs
- view your mail online
- view and accept your Student Loan Contract
- view details of your next payment and previous transactions
- view and update your personal details such as your address, phone number and income
- change the amount of your living cost payments.
Logging into MyStudyLink
To access MyStudyLink you need to have an igovt logon.
When you apply online, you'll create a logon using the igovt logon service, consisting of a username and password.
Once your application has been processed and we have received all of your identity documents, such as a copy of your birth certificate or passport (if we haven't already seen it), you can then access your MyStudyLink account using the igovt logon you created.
If you have forgotten your igovt logon details
If you have forgotten your username and/or password, you can use the igovt logon service to reset them. Use the links on the igovt log on page, or the Manage your igovt logon link below (and select Manage your igovt logon from the menu).
