This section contains links to other agencies that work with StudyLink and provide services to students.

Inland Revenue

StudyLink works with Inland Revenue to administer the Student Loan Scheme. While StudyLink manages the application and payment process, Inland Revenue collects repayments once students start earning over a certain amount.

Student Job Search (SJS)

SJS brings students and employers together. They provide a free service, listing and filling part-time or casual jobs throughout the year and full-time jobs over the summer break. StudyLink works with SJS to connect students with employment.

Career Services

Career Services is New Zealand's leading provider of career information, advice and guidance. StudyLink works with Career Services to ensure students receive quality advice on career planning when making decisions about tertiary study.

Flatting 101

Flatting 101 provides a step-by-step guide for first-time renters, including a comprehensive range of advice and information about finding a flat, signing a tenancy agreement, resolving problems, enjoying a hassle-free flatting lifestyle, the rules renters are expected to follow, and legal advice.

Department of Building and Housing

The Department of Building and Housing can provide information and guidance for tenants and landlords. They can give you information and advice about your rights and obligations and the services available to help you resolve disputes.

New Zealand Union of Students' Associations (NZUSA)

NZUSA advocates for the common and collective concerns of students. NZUSA represents students at Universities, College of Education and Polytechnics.

Tertiary Education Commission (TEC)

The TEC's role is to implement the tertiary education reforms in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and New Zealand Qualifications Authority. The TEC is the lead agency for managing relationships with the tertiary sector and for policy development.

New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA)

The NZQA's primary function is to coordinate the administration and quality assurance of national qualifications in New Zealand. StudyLink works with the NZQA primarily to deliver Top Scholar Awards to high achieving Secondary School students.

Ministry of Education (MoE)

The MoE is responsible for leading New Zealand's education system to ensure it meets the needs of all students.

Ministry of Youth Development

The Ministry of Youth Development is inviting young New Zealanders to pick up a camera, make the most of summer, and enter the ID360 short film competition on ‘Identity and Diversity’. ID360 is all about what it means to be a young person in New Zealand today. The competition is open to all young New Zealanders aged 12-24.
