Re-apply for a Student Allowance and Student Loan

You need to apply for the Student Allowance each time you enrol for a new period of study.

You need to take out a new loan each time you start a new course.

Extending your Student Allowance

Usually you can get the Student Allowance for up to 200 weeks in total. But you may be able to get an extension in certain circumstances if you need extra time to finish your studies.
