Student Loan performance calculator
Use this calculator to work out if you have passed at least half of your total EFTS. This measures your performance for Student Loan.
You only need to provide a performance declaration once you have completed 1.6 EFTS of study (since your first Student Loan for study that ended in 2009 or later).
Only enter EFTS for tertiary study finishing in 2009 or later. This includes any study that you:
- received financial assistance from StudyLink for
- did not receive financial assistance from StudyLink for
- passed at least half of
- did not pass at least half of
- withdrew from.
If you have started a programme but have not completed it, we still need to know the EFTS you studied and passed. However, if you withdrew from a programme within 30 days of the date it started and received a partial fee refund or withdraw and received a full fee refund before the end of that programme, it is not included in your performance test.
If you withdrew from part of a course (eg papers or a semester), the EFTS value of the portion you withdrew from won't be included in your performance test.
This calculator is only intended as a guide and the result is based on the accuracy of details you provide at the time of this calculation. You will still need to apply online to receive financial assistance from StudyLink.
Please note: To be eligible for a Student Loan all other criteria must also be met. To check your eligibility for a Student Loan and other financial assistance offered by StudyLink, use the "What you can get" eligibility tool. We cannot confirm if you qualify for a Student Loan until you apply.
When using the calculator you should only be entering EFTS for any study that ended in 2009 or later.
