Help with work costs
A Transition to Work Grant can help with the costs of starting work or going to a job interview. It can help with things like buying work clothes or paying for travel in the first few days of your job.
General Transition to Work criteria
To get the Transition to Work Grant you'll need to be a tertiary student who needs financial help to get a job and:- be unable to meet the costs yourself
- have income and assets under a certain limit.
The job will need to be:
- at least 15 hours a week
You'll need to provide proof of your costs to get this grant.
