Alternatively, you can call us on 0800 88 99 00 to tell us about any change in your circumstances.

You need to let us know if:

  • you withdraw from a course, drop a paper, or change your course
  • you are under 24 and your parents' income has gone down significantly since the last financial year
  • your (or your partner's) income changes
  • your (or your partner's) personal details changes (for example, name, address or bank account)
  • your living situation changes (for example, if you start or stop living with your parents or you start or stop a relationship)
  • if you (or your partner) go overseas.

Why it's important to tell us about your changes

You must tell us about your changes so you don’t miss out on extra payments or be overpaid, which means you'll have to pay the money back.

It's also important that you let us know of any change in your circumstances so we can continue to be able to contact you.
