Course-related costs can help buy material or services for your course. They are one of the three parts of a Student Loan.
Who can get course-related costs
Your student loan contract must be accepted before you can claim for course-related costs.

How much course-related costs you can borrow
You can usually borrow up to $1,000 a year for course-related costs.
How to apply for course-related costs
Once your student loan contract has been accepted you can claim for course-related costs separately, through your MyStudyLink secure account.
Login to MyStudyLink to apply for your course-related costs. You can even do it easily from your mobile device.
When you'll get your course-related costs
We pay your student loan for course-related costs directly to your bank account. The earliest we can do this is 14 days before your course starts. Payments are usually available within 24 hours of approval.
