You can claim course-related costs at any stage during your study if you're studying full-time.
Important information
Course-related costs are part of a Student Loan so you'll need to pay them back.
You can borrow up to $1000 in course-related costs as part of your Student Loan.
If you started your current enrolment in 2020 you can borrow up to $2000. This means you enrolled for your course and started studying within 2020. The amount was increased for enrolments and study in 2020 due to COVID-19.
You don't have to borrow the full amount. You also don't need to claim it all at once.

If your study has already started, we'll process your claim once we receive it and pay you within 24-72 working hours.
