Email us using our online form
- You can email us your query using our online form, but you can't send forms or documents.
- The online form is not covered under 'Cheap as' data.
- Once you've submitted the form, it can take up to 10 working days for us to respond.

Phone
Deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech impairment
NZ Relay is a national relay service for the New Zealand deaf, deaf-blind, hearing impaired or speech impaired communities. This service helps people in these communities to keep in touch by phone without needing the assistance of friends or family.
Post
If you want to send something to us you can log in to Connect and upload it.
If you can't upload it to Connect (eg, you're not in New Zealand, Australia or the Pacific Islands), you can still send it to us.
Complaints
Compliments or suggestions
We'd like to hear your compliments and suggestions on what we could do better.
To send your compliment or suggestion, fill out the online form on the MSD website.
Meet with us in person
If you'd like to talk to someone face-to-face, call us. We’ll try to help you over the phone first. But if an in-person appointment is needed, we’ll help you book one with a StudyLink Officer Outreach.
A face-to-face appointment may be helpful if:
- you have a language barrier
- you need support to use our online services
- you’re thinking about moving from a benefit into study.
StudyLink Officers Outreach are available at selected Ministry of Social Development (MSD) service centres in major cities.
