The Labour Day public holiday is on Monday 26 October 2026.
Payment dates
If you're normally paid on Tuesday 27 October 2026, you'll be paid early on Saturday 24 October 2026.
All other payments for that week will not change.
Processing times may vary depending on which bank you're with.

Using our online services
You can use MyStudyLink at any time, including public holidays. MyStudyLink is our online service where you can apply and manage your information online. You can use it to do things like:
- declare income for your Student Allowance
- claim course-related costs on your Student Loan
- check the status of your application
- view and update your Student Loan living costs.
