How to send us your documents

You can upload and send documents online using Connect, instead of having to post them to us.

If you're uploading a form, you need to physically sign it.

Your parents or partners can also upload their documents and forms from their own Connect accounts. When they upload them, they'll need to tell us your details (eg, your name and client number).

About Connect

Connect is a tool provided by Techspace Connect Ltd and is only accessible from New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. If you don't live in these countries, you can post your documents to us.

Connect is not covered under 'Cheap as' data

If you have any questions about Connect, email us or call us

Find out about Connect

You can sign in with your RealMe login.

Log in to Connect

Choose the ‘Get started’ option to start uploading your documents.

Tell us your details

You need to tell us:

  • your email address
  • your name and client number (or the student's name and client number if you're not the student)

Upload and send

Then you need to:

  • scan your verified documents or take a photograph and save it
  • upload your documents
    • if you're uploading a form, you need to upload all the pages (you can skip any pages watermarked with 'don't return this page')
  • check the quality of the documents (if you're returning a prefilled form make sure the barcode including numbers can be read)
  • give permission for Connect to share the documents with us
  • submit your documents.

You'll get a message telling you that the submission is complete and an email to confirm that your documents are on the way to us.

Returning students

If you sent us extra forms or documents for your application last year, eg, a parents' form or proof of your parents' income, you need to send new ones this year, even if things haven't changed.

Don't send us a copy of the same forms or documents you sent last year - we can't use these because they're not up to date.

Once you've submitted your documents, it can take up to 48 hours for us to receive them.

You can check in MyStudyLink – under “Documents Received” to see if they've been received.

Usually, we'll process your documents within 5 working days, but this may take longer during our busier times. If you’ve been waiting longer than 2 weeks for an update, contact us

Once we've processed them, we'll let you know if there's anything else we need.
