Help for partners when you're studying

If your partner's working, they may be able to get help from us with other costs:

• accommodation
• health and disability
• childcare.

If your partner's on a benefit, their payments could be affected. They need to discuss their situation with Work and Income.

If your partner's studying, they need to submit their own application for Student Allowance.

If your partner can't get a Student Allowance, they may be able to get help with other costs, eg:

• accommodation
• health and disability
• childcare.

If your partner's not working, on a benefit or studying we may still be able to help.
